Lots of companies have been around for 5 years, 10 years, maybe 20. Some can even boast 50 years in operation. Office Service Company has been around since 1925.
We’ve made it through Prohibition, the Great Depression, and some pretty memorable wars. We survived the 60’s and the decadence of the 80’s. We pulled together after 9/11 and we made it through the housing bubble. Our company has evolved over the years but we have never forgotten where we started and who we are. We are a company who believes that buying local is not just a responsibility, but an honor. We believe in community, in honesty and in integrity, and we are proud of our history.
We could regale you with all kinds of details about who did what and when, but you’re only here to learn a little more and see if we are someone you could partner with. Well, we are and have been, since 1975, a family owned and operated business. We are proud of that and we will continue to be so. Sure, we aren’t that little stationary store that resided in a tiny shop on 6th Street in Reading anymore. We have four divisions, have a national reach, enjoy modern technology and tools and have more than just a few family members on the team. We have grown over the years since our humble beginnings, but what we have never lost is our focus on service, on our customers and on our community.
